[PHOTOS] Isaac Dogbe presents WBO Interim Super Bantamweight title to Nana Addo

Ghanaian boxer, Isaac Dogbe, today Tuesday, 9th January, 2018,paid a courtesy call on president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House.

The WBO Interim Super Bantamweight Champion was at the Presidency to present the title he won against his Mexican opponent, Cesar Juarez, on Saturday, 6th January, at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Dogbe (18-0, 12 KOs) made Ghanaians proud by stopping Mexico’s Cesar Juarez (20-6, 15KOs) in round five to win the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt.

Youth and Sports minister, Mr. Isaac Asiamah, who was at ring side on Saturday, after watching the 23 year-old batter his Mexican opponent revealed government’s plan to reward the former Olympian.

“In the coming weeks you will hear from government. I can promise you that the President would reward Dogbe handsomely for his performance tonight,” he said.

“I am so proud of him and all I can say now is that he is so focused, determined and disciplined and that is what every boxer needs to attain greater heights in the country.”
