Comedian and presenter Afia Schwarzenegger and musician Ebony were the top 2 most search people on the internet in Ghana for the year 2017.
This is according to the list of top 10 people searches in the country according to search engine giant, Google.
Others who made the list included Medikal, Kaba and ousted Gambian leader, Yahyah Jammeh.
Indeed, the search for information on all these people was fueled by controversy they had caused that sent social media buzzing in the country.
Afia Schwarzenegger for instance, was caught in a controversial cheating allegation which saw her ex-husband live record himself barging into a room that saw the comedian half naked.
The topic and its related developments were discussed for weeks.
Ebony undoubtedly blew many Ghanaians away with her rather suggestive dressing and sensual music themes clothed in formally packaged songs.
She has since generated a lot of talks, from her appearance in public with her clothes exposing parts of their body and allegations of her showing her vjayjay at a recent event, many obviously were searching on google to see more.
Its been a good year for Medikal, he came up with a number of songs that did well. His feature on ‘Trumpet’ et all all boosted his visibility and appeal.
Kaba’s death was among the biggest news to occur in 2017.
