Theresa May has joined her fellow European leaders in condemning Donald Trump after the US president refused to back the Iran nuclear deal.
Mr Trump revealed that new sanctions could be placed on Iran, and accused it of supporting terrorism.
In a joint statement, the prime minister, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and France’s Emmanuel Macron said they are ‘concerned by the possible implications’ following Mr Trump’s announcement.
Describing the deal as ‘the culmination of 13 years of diplomacy’, the three leaders urged Congress to reconsider.
