George Appiah-Kubi, brother to the lawmaker for the area who made the allegations, said Lawyer John Kuma who is also the President of Young Patriots is nursing an ambition to become an MP for the area and is therefore instigating the Young Patriots in the constituency against their lawmaker.

“Somebody is behind the rift between the MP and Hon. Serwaa Derchi and that person is John Kuma”, George Appiah-Kubi alleged on Kumasi-based Nhyira FM’s morning show hosted by Kofi Asante Enning.

“It is John Kuma who is doing everything humanly possible to ensure the rift between the constituency and the MCE will not cease”, he told host of ” Kroyemunsem”.

According to George Appiah-Kubi, the CEO of NEIP on many occasions has held secret meetings with delegates in the constituency to announce his intention to run for the seat fuelling the rift.

“I will urge national executives of the party to call John Kuma to order because we are no more in campaign mode”, he fumed.
