The first day of the Holly Bobo murder trial was expected to have a number of notable events, and that’s been the case so far.
After opening statements by the prosecution and defense and testimony by both of Bobo’s parents – Dana and Karen – and the neighbor who heard a scream, court went into recess.
It was during that recess Karen Bobo, who was on the witness stand at the time recess was taken, had what Judge C. Creed McGinley called a “medical episode” and eventually returned to the stand.
A media member in attendance at the trial was allegedly removed from the courtroom after sending a tweet that expressed identifiable features of a jury member.
Actual removal hasn’t been confirmed, but the reporter and all of his belongings are gone from the premises.
This was after he had kidnapped, drugged and raped her.
With a presumption that she was dead, Adam planned to gut her so that her body will not float on the surface if she is put into the Tennessee River.
While transporting her body to be thrown into the river, Holly Bobo gasped and that drew Adam’s attention.
He grabbed a gun and located he head and shot her in cold blood.
The Jury called for emergency personnel.
She could be heard sobbing uncontrollably.
She said she record a d conversation with Zach Adams.
Prosecutors said on the day Bobo disappeared in April 2011, Adams asked his friend, Autrey to help him get rid of the victim’s body.
