GES releases hotlines to address BECE placement issues

The Ghana Education Service has released two hotlines to help address the various challenges 2017 BECE candidates are having in checking for their placement.

2017 BECE candidates, since the release of their placement, have had various challenges in checking the Senior High School they have gained entry to.

2017 BECE: Second batch of SHS placement closes on Tuesday

Some of the problems include the unavailability of the the placement website, myjhsresult.net

Candidates having various problems in checking their placement have been advised to call 0302 747 778 or send a WhatsApp message to the number 0207 407 499.

2017 BECE: Guidelines for second batch of SHS placements

The Ghana Education Service on Thursday, 31st August, 2017 released the SHS placement for 2017 BECE candidates.

The release saw a total of 424,092, representing 92% of the total registered candidates for the exams, qualified for placement.

However, a total of 36,849 candidates failed to get SHS placement because they scored Grade 9 in either Mathematics or Integrated Science.
