Trucker continues to drive oblivious to thick smoke – because he’s on his phone

A motorist was forced to drive through a ‘smokescreen’ created by a truck churning out thick plumes of exhaust recently.

Dad-of-six Karl Newsome filmed himself driving behind the truck on the A50 in Leicester, obscuring his vision on the road.

The 51-year-old managed to capture the thick fumes billowing from the truck, and even spotted that the driver was using his mobile phone when he was able to pass.
