Kumawood Actress based in Kumasi, Ama Boahemaa popularly known as Mama Kali has said she’s is not disappointed declaring her support to the New Patriotic Party.
According to her, she joined the NPP because of the economic hardship that existed under the erstwhile Mahama administration in order to push for the NPP to restore hope to Ghanaians.
According to her, although most of the NPP Government’s promises have not seen light yet she is hopeful that the party will not disappoint Ghanaians.
“I know at the right time things will get better… it’s a matter of time so let’s exercise restraints. I’ve not regretted joining the NPP,” Mama Kali disclosed on RTVGhana.
“So far I’m happy for President Nana Addo’s Free Senior High School initiative because most parents have no money to pay for their wards education so this will help solve that problem,” she said talking about the NPP’s achievement after taking over from the John Mahama led administration.
Ahead of the 2016 general election, popular Kumawood actor Alexander Kofi Adu, known in movies as Agya Koo and hosts of other Kumasi based actors and actresses declared their support for the NPP flagbearer Nana Akuffo-Addo citing the need for change as their reason.
