WAEC re-opens Nov/Dec registration for 2017 WASSCE candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has reopened registration for the November/December private WASSCE exams. 

This offer is to candidates who could not make the required grades in the 2017 West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and would want to re write the exams as private candidates in the November/December exams.

Persons who could not also register the regular registration period, which was between February and June, can take advantage o this offer.

Prospective candidates have up till 15th August, 2017 to register for the exams.

According to a notice of registration issued by the examinations body, prospective candidates are supposed to report personally at the WAEC office in the regions where they intend writing the examination for registration between August 01 and 15, 2017.

The 2017 WASSCE May/June exam saw about 134,763 candidates score F9 in Core Mathematics and Integrated Science although the results showed a marginal improvement in English and Core Mathematics scores.
