Night Of The Living Dead creator George Romero has died aged 77.
Romero’s longtime producing partner Peter Grunwald told LA Times in a statement that he died in his sleep on Sunday after ‘a brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer’.
He died while listening to the score from 1952 film The Quiet Man, said to be one of his favourite films. His wife Suzanne Desrocher Romero and his daughter Tina were at his side.
