The acting editor of the General Telegraph newspaper, Bismark Bebli has been killed in a gory accident that occurred in front of the Kasoa police station in the Central Region on Friday.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred around around 1:15pm when an ‘Trotro’ Urvan bus with registration number GE 8252-12 failed its brakes ran over him and a policeman as they stood by the road.
The deceased [Bismark Bebli] was stopped by a policeman who wanted to check his papers. As the two negotiated along the road, the trotro with the failed brakes run over them.
Bismark was rushed to the Kasoa Polyclinic where he gave up the ghost but the policeman who sustained minor injuries has been admitted at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he is responding to treatment.
