NPP supporters serve eviction notice to gov’t flats occupants

Some irate-youth who identify as New Patriotic Party, NPP, supporters have on Monday January 9 broken into apartments at the Kwame Nkrumah Flats at Laterbiokoshie in Accra.

They gave occupants of the flats 24-hours to vacate the residences and make way for new apartment allocations to be made by the newly inaugurated New Patriotic Party government.

They have threatened to further destroy properties belonging to occupants and forcefully “drag” them out if they do not heed to their “gentle request”.

The eyewitness stated they would have succeeded in dragging them out of their apartments today if the police had not arrived at the scene.

NPP supporters are reportedly seizing various government installations across the country including the Tema Port.

Perpetrators of such acts have intimated their actions are informed their quest to sweep-out corruption from the system.
