Former Member of Parliament (MP) for the La Dadekotopon constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Nii Amassah Namoale has asked H.E Nana Akufo-Addo to appoint him as “special advisor in speech construction”.
According to him, the president needed an advisor in speech construction so as to avoid future cases of plagiarism.
The former La Dadekotopon MP was commenting on a recent case of an alleged plagiarized speech delivered by the president during his swearing-in ceremony on Saturday.
Hon. Nii Amassah Namoale, who lost his seat to Mr. Vincent Sowah Odotei of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said he is willing to serve in the current NPP administration since the NPP promised an all-inclusive government when we assume power.
“I will serve in Akufo-Addo’s government only if I would be given the opportunity to choose in the area where I will serve.” – He said.
When asked the area where he will want to serve, the famous MP quickly said “I want to be the National Security Coordinator or better still, as Special Adivisor in Speech Construction”
He also called for the immediate dismissal of those responsible for the preparation of the speech delivered by the president as the plagiarism brouhaha has dented the image of the president and the country at large.
