They may not agree politically but the duo may be Ghana’s finest politicians currently. They have displayed great patriotism, tolerance and good leadership in the face of a tensed political atmosphere.
President John Mahama who shockingly lost in his bid to be reelected as President for another four-year term appears comfortable and nice to his main opponent who he lost to, Nana Akufo-Addo, of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The two met on Sunday evening when they inaugurated the transition team expected to facilitate the smooth handing over of power to the new government led by Akufo-Addo.
Others in the photograph include Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and incoming Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia.
