The headmaster of Burma Camp based Armed Forces Senior High Technical School, Lt. Col. Osman S. Zuneidu, has stated that the school will be ready to admit students into its boarding house before the commencement of the 2016/2017 academic year.
The project, which was funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), begun in February 2012.
Although admitting that the project is not 100% completed, Lt. Col. Osman S. Zuneidu was hopeful that the GetFund will honour its promise of completing before August.
“We have several challenges. The dining hall is not yet done. Kitchen wares and catering equipment have not been provided. We’re assured by GETfund everything will be ready by end of August.” – he said
The project is a two separate storey building planned to accommodate a total of 250 students in each dormitory.
It also has a kitchen complex and over 1,000 seats for the students in its ultra modern dinning hall.
