Sensational Ghanaian songstress MzVee will on Wednesday, November 25 join young people across the world to discuss solutions for ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity.
The event is organized by the World Bank Group in partnership with TEDxAccra.
MzVee, who landed a World Bank ambassadorial role in October this year is expected to champion the World Bank’s “End Extreme Poverty” campaign being carried out across the world.
She recently recorded a song titled ‘End Poverty’ to support the cause.
In a recent engagement on the campaign, MzVee said “I believe that, together we can help eradicate extreme poverty, we need to work together to shed light on the devastating effects of poverty, and we need to educate people on how we can stand together to find ways forward. I trust that there is hope and things will get better.”
The event will also be witnessed by a live audience. (Register here http://goo.gl/forms/uBpEMAjfv0 to be part of the live audience).
