The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service is set to look into allegations of confession to murder by Bullhaus Entertainment boss, Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson also known as Bulldog.
The new investigation follows claims by Ghana dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale that his former manager, Bulldog had threatened to kill him as he had killed someone.
Bulldog is currently being investigated for murder, after police arrested him in May last year in connection to the cold blood murder of artiste manager, Fennec Okyere.
Bulldog was subsequently granted bail with developments on the case assuming a low key away from the public however the recent revelations by dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale in a press conference earlier on Monday November 2, 2015 that his former manager had confessed to a previous murder in a heated confrontation during their working relationship not too long ago, seem to have resurrected the case.
Shatta Wale said Bulldog had said, “I [bulldog] will kill you [Shatta Wake] like I killed the other guy” during their confrontation.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Police CID, ASP Joseph Benefoh Darkwa, the police are yet to obtain the audio tape of Shatta Wale making the claims and subsequently looking into it and taking action where necessary.
He noted that the public must remain calm as the Police carefully look into claim and make public its findings.
The woes of Bulldog are most likely to worsen with additional evidence of murder if the police find Shatta Wale’s revelation worthy.
