Stratcomm Africa Becomes A Member Of Ghana Club 100

Club 100Strategic Communications Africa Ltd. (Stratcomm Africa) has been recognized among the top 100 companies in the country by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre at the Ghana Club 100 (GC100) award ceremony.

The ceremony under the theme, Impact Investments and Sustainable Economic Development, was held at the State Banquet Hall in Accra. The GC 100 ranking is an annual initiative by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) to honour companies which have excelled in their various areas of operations under the year in review. The prestigious awards were presented to the 100 top companies selected through a rigorous process by Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm.

Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff at the Presidency, represented His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, as Guest of Honour at the well attended event. He congratulated the companies who had been recognized on their achievement.

The President of the African Development Bank, Mr. Akinwumi Adesina, was represented by Mr. Charles Boamah, Vice-President, Finance, as Keynote Speaker. He underscored the commitment of the Bank to sustainability in Africa’s development. He explained various initiatives the Bank was undertaking to this end.

Mrs. Mawuena Trebah, Chief Executive Officer of GIPC said, “Next year our attention would continue to be on the critical sectors for investors, including what we need to do as a country to progress to an upper middle income status.”Adding that, “We will take feedback from our Club 100 members to inform on the next club 100 event.

Commenting on the award, Board Chairman of Stratcomm Africa, Professor Samuel Adjepong, expressed his delight at the recognition given Stratcomm Africa. He said “This confirms the commitment to professional excellence, professional integrity, dedication to excellence that is evident in Stratcomm Africa’s operations”

Ms. Esther A.N. Cobbah, Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa and PR Personality of the Year 2013 and past CIMG Marketing Woman of the Year, said “We are happy but, at the same time, feel challenged. As a team, we have come a long way. We are grateful to our clients, media, suppliers and partners as well as all our other stakeholders for believing in us and supporting us. We remain committed to delivering excellent communication solutions to our clients and pursuing effective business principles. She added, “Our help is in the name of the Lord to whom we give all the praise!”
