The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), is set to embark on another industrial action should government fail to pay them their Book and Research allowance by close of day, Friday October 23.
According to the association, in spite of the many assurances from government to pay the arrears, they are yet to receive their monies.
President of the Association, Dr. Samuel Bekoe in an interview said, the association is yet to hear positively from government after calling off their 1-week old strike action in August.
In an earlier statement the association had given government an ultimatum of September 30 to pay the arrears in full but that has not been met.
Executives of UTAG will hold an emergency meeting to decide on their next line of action next week if government does not take urgent steps to address their concerns.
