Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg "Happy" About Same-sex Marriage Legalization

Mark ZuckerbergFounder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has expressed excitement about the US Supreme Court’s majority vote decision to legalize same-sex marriage across the country.

According to him, the decision is another step towards achieving the promise of all persons created equal.

In a facebook post on Friday, the 31 year-old internet entrepreneur said;

“We still have much more to do to achieve full equality for everyone in our community, but we are moving in the right direction.”


He added that “I’m so happy for all of my friends and everyone in our community who can finally celebrate their love and be recognized as equal couples under the law.”

The decision by the supreme court has been welcomed with mixed reactions from various sections of the US public as well as some in other parts of the world.
Renowned evangelist, Franklin Graham has said the supreme court is not entitled to redefine marriage which has been predefined by God.
