Players and officials of King Faisal football club were involved in an accident on their way to training Friday morning.
The accident accured at Anloga Junction in Kumasi as the bus on which the team was traveling in for their training collided with another vehicle.
Team manager of the team, Umar Sanda confirmed the incident to Happy FM and added that about seven of the players were in critical conditions.
“The team was on our bus heading for training when it collided with another vehicle at the Anloga Junction. I didn’t get hurt because a metal in front of my seat saved me but some of the players got hurt and seven of them are in critical conditions.” Umar Sanda told Happy FM.
King Faisal have therefore asked the Ghana Football Association to postpone their impending games due to their present condition.
