'Cable Fault' Caused Kotoka Airport Power Outage

dumsorAuthorities at the Kotoka International Airport have attributed last Friday’s power outage at the Airport to a ‘cable fault’.

A statement issued on Sunday by officials indicated that the situation did not lead to any security mishap as measures were put in place to avoid any security breach.

On Friday, some parts of the International Airport was left in total darkness for hours as electricity supply was abruptly cut at about 6pm.

The incident brought to a halt some activities as others managed to improvise with rechargeable lamps to facilitate their work during the period.
