A 20-year-old level 100 student of Central University College, Ernest Baah is appealing for support to enable him undergo an urgent kidney transplant in India.
Ernest Baah, who has been living on just one kidney after a diagnosis of kidney failture is currently on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Renal Dialysis Unit where he is undergoing chronic dialysis.
Ernest Baah currently needs GH¢60,000 – an amount his family is unable to raise for the transplant in India.
Doctors at the Unit have advised that he must undergo a transplant immediately if he is to continue to live.
A very distressed mother mother of Master Ernest Baah, said “we have tried all the means available to raise funds for the surgery but we can’t come up with the money, we appeal to Ghanaians to help us save my son’s life”
The family of Ernest Baah have already exhausted the GHs2,300 meant for his haemodialysis treatment and is currently indebted to a tune over GHs930 to the Unit.
Master Ernest Baah, an old student of Tema Secondary School has been described by his mates as a caring and very bright student.
