A visit to the legislative house on Tuesday showed artisans and other labourers busily decorating the premises of Parliament. Worn out and torn flags were being replaced with new ones as the hedges received trimming.
Some painters were seen busily scrapping off old and sorry-looking paints from the walls before new ones were applied. Other labourers were also found keeping tidy the green grass at the premises.
The State of the Nation Address is an annual address by the President of Ghana in Parliament and is mandated by law. It serves as a means to inform the nation about its present economic, political, and social condition, and is a vehicle for the President to summarise the accomplishments and plans of his programme for government both for a particular year and until the end of their term of office.
