“There Wouldn’t Be Opportunity For Late Applications” – KNUST

KNUSTDeputy Registrar of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Mr. Vincent Ankama Lomotey has revealed that KNUST will not put in place measures to allow prospective students submit their applications after the April 11 deadline as it had done last year.

Speaking to 233 Live News, Mr. Ankama Lomotey said the school had opened for late applications last year due to the high number of prospective students who sought admission then, following the graduation of two cohorts of Senior High School students.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has grown to be one of the few institutions of higher learning in Ghana that attracts many tens of thousands of applications from Senior High School graduates who seek to further into tertiary University education.

The school for instance last year hit a record admission application of over 40,000, a number of whose quarter the University is not even able to absorb.
