At a special church service last Sunday on the Spintex road, the Springs of a Life Chapel International climaxed the church’s Easter program with an awards ceremony held by Prophet Brian Amoateng of Brian Jones Outreach Ministries and Brian Jones educational foundation from the United Kingdom. The deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board, Hon. Obuobia Darko-Opoku on the night received an award for her meritorious services in broadcast journalism as well as her selflessness towards issues concerning women and children.
The Presenter who doubled as the guest speaker said Hon. Darko-Okoku had been of great supoort to his two institutions and he together with his team believes that people must be awarded when they are live to serve as an encouragement to other young people in the country.
The presentation was done by Rev Jonathan Ekuban founder and head pastor of Springs Of Life Chapel International. He in his remarks exalted honorable Obuobia for the exemplary life she is living and congratulated her for serving as a role model for other women especially the young ones.
He also lauded Prophet Amoateng for such initiative, especially the principle behind the awards to honor people who are dedicated to a social cause while they are alive and finally encourage the ladies in the church to emulate such feet.
