Ecobank Group Calls on Vice President Amissah-Arthur

The Vice President of Ghana, H.E. Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur on Thursday received a three-member delegation from the Ecobank Group at the Flagstaff House in Accra.

The formal meeting was to discuss matters relating to the economy and in particular the banking sector. Ecobank currently operates in 35 African countries including Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad and Ghana.

The Group also has a licenced operation in Paris and representative offices in Beijing, Dubai, Johannesburg, London and Luanda.

The three member delegation from Ecobank included Mr Angus Downie, Ecobank Group Head of Economic Research and Mr Michael N. A. Cobblah who expressed the bank’s commitment to ensuring financial integration and development in Ghana and the African continent.
