TEDxLabone Speakers: Meet Hon. Hanna Tetteh

Hanna TettehAll is set for Ghana’s biggest independently organized TED event at the Kama Conference Centre tomorrow 5th April 2014 and we are excited to introduce to you one of the distinguished personalities who will be speaking from the red platform, Hon. Hanna Tetteh.

Born in Szeged, Hungary some 46 years ago, Hanna Serwaa Tetteh between 1986 and 1989 studied law at the University of Ghana where she obtained a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree before furthering to the Ghana Law School.

She become a Barrister-at-Law in 1992 and served for many years as a Legal Officer with the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) and Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice in Ghana.

She has also worked with the Ghana Agro Food Company and in private legal practice at the Ansa-Asare and Company Hencil Chambers.

Hon. Hanna Tetteh is a known political figure in Ghana having served in various political capacities in Ghana’s governance system for many years.

She is currently the Minister for Foreign Affairs in the incumbent government after serving as the Trade and Industry Minister under the Mills administration and the Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya Constituency for one term in the year 2000.

TEDxLabone 2014 comes off on Saturday 5th April, 2014 at the Kama Conference Centre in Accra.
