Joining 18 other speakers for TEDxLabone 2014 on 5th April at the Kama Conference Centre is social entrepreneur, Makafui Awuku who will present a revealing talk on “The African and Ghanaian way of learning in our schools“.
The determined young Makafui Awuku is a BSc Marketing Degree holder from the University of Professional Studies, Accra. His belief in harnessing the power of the creative minds has compelled him to dedicate his time to assist students rediscover their role in national development through his NGO Students’ Initiative.
Mr. Awuku has painfully but successfully moved many young people from dormancy to a state of effective leadership in many social circles.
A multi-talented young gentleman, Makafui finds himself serving as a project manager with an advertising company where he brings his creative mind and its ideas to bear, continuing to break the age old methods to advertising and injecting freshness and originality into the industry.
