TEDxLabone Speakers: Meet Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah

Kojo Oppong-NkrumahWith just 12 days to the much anticipated conference, TEDxLabone 2014, we count down with the profile of one of our 19 speakers, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah who will present to you a mind-blowing talk on 5th April 2014 at the Kama Conference Centre.
A passionate broadcaster and entrepreneur, Kojo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Cape Coast and University of Ghana respectively. A fellow of the Henry Crown Fellowship of the Aspen Institute and the Africa Leadership Initiative, West Africa, started out his professional life as a treasury analyst at the British American Tobacco in 2006.
His eloquence and passion for broadcasting positioned him to be presented with an opportunity to work with one of Ghana’s biggest independent Radio Station, Joy FM in 2006. Through dedication, hard work and commitment, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah rose through the ranks over time to be host of the station’s flagship program, the Super Morning Show.
He is famous for hosting flagship programs including the Super Morning Show, News File and the 2012 Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates.
The fine gentleman owns and runs a private firm, BROWNSTONE Capital, which operates three subsidiaries – in Marketing Communications, Financial services and logistics.
Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has served as a resource person to many corporate organizations including Standard Charted Bank Ghana, Barclays Bank Ghana, Friedrich Ebert-Stiftung Foundation, The University of Missouri, TIGO Ghana, Enterprise Life and the Springboard Roadshow Foundation.
He is also the brain behind the Read 100 Project, an initiative that sought to promote the culture of reading among Ghanaian children.
Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah’s talk will be on “Dream, imagine, explore; Challenging today’s African to conquer tomorrow”.

TEDxLabone 2014 comes off on Saturday 5th April, 2014 at the Kama Conference Centre in Accra.
