Northern Region: Two Senior High Schools To Receive Facelift

Samuel Okudzeto AblakwaThe Nakpanduri Senior High School and Bunkpurugu Senior High School in the Northern Region of Ghana are expected to get a facelift by the end of the December this year.

According to the Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the GETFund financed projects have been awarded on contract to a company to commence the construction of a 300 student capacity dormitory block at both schools.

Hon. Ablakwa also added that two bedroom semi-detached quarters to house four teachers from both Nakpanduri SHS and Bunkpurugu SHS will be constructed at both schools to promote effective teaching and supervision.

The Deputy Minister was answering a question posed by the Hon. Member of Parliament for the Bunkpurugu constituency, Hon. Solomon Namlit Boah on Tuesday with regards to the state of some Senior High Schools in his constituency.
