Embattled Corporate Relations Manager for mobile telecoms company in Ghana Airtel, Mr. Solomon Kwame Gyan had in 2013 stated that he would not relent in commenting on issues bothering on the development of the country as they reflected his view as a concerned Ghanaian.
In a rejoinder 233 Live News came across on his personal blog (www.kwamegyan.wordpress.com), Kwame Gyan disassociated all comments he made on the various social media platforms from his professional working life, Mr. Gyan wrote on May 21, 2013:
Whatever I post on this blog (kwamegyan.wordpress.com), my Facebook wall (Kwame Gyan), Twitter page (@KwameGyan), LinkedIn page (Kwame Gyan), newspaper column (Piece of my Mind), etc are my personal views. This includes my review of the Ghana Music Awards.
I am not paid by anyone to do so, and I am not influenced by anyone to do so. If I am representing teh company I work for, I will duly say so. Until then, I will keep expressing my opinion on issues of state.
If I go overboard sometimes I am humble enough to apologise. Those who have not read me but want to spread all sorts of rubbish about me are nothing but cowards who do not merit any more of my attention than this notice.
The manager was on Monday afternoon reported to have been suspended indefinitely without salary by his employers for comments he made on Social Media purported to be treasonable. He is yet to come out with an official statement on the latest development.
