2014 TEDxLabone Speakers revealed!

TEDxLaboneIf you’re not familiar with TED, TED is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that matter in all disciplines; technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development and so on. Talks at the conference, “TEDTalks,” are then made available to watch for free on TED.com.
In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED has created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connections.
Our TEDxLabone event is not organized by TED Conferences, but is operated under a license from TED.
TEDxLabone2014 is our first TEDx event in Labone, and the speaker lineup is — in a word — thrilling. Speakers will touch on topics ranging from technology, entertainment, design and education to climate change, architecture, music, science and parenting.
Hon Hannah Tetteh will talk about her passion, “Women in Leadership & Governance – Why it matters & personal reflections”.
Ms. Uche Ofodile will talk about the “Woman to Woman: How successful women can replicate their success through mentoring”.
Benjamin Gregory Aggrey will also talk about “Winning Together, Intentionally”, while Toni Manieson will put up with the Jazz music and talk to about Reaching My Destiny, Living My Dream – Music through Gratitude Anyone Can”.
Other speakers lineup to speak will look back and reflect on things that have happened over the past 30 years.
TEDxLabone works to share the voices of thinkers, innovators and performers who will inform, Empower & Educate.  Details can be found at www.tedxlabone.com.
