AFSHS Holds Christian Crusade for Final Year Students

Scripture Union logoThe Scripture Union (SU) of Armed Forces Senior High Technical School, Burma Camp, on Thursday 6th February 2014, organized an indoor crusade for its final year students to pray concerning their fore-coming WASSCE examination.

The crusade was on the theme: “Not by Might”, with scripture from 1 Samuel 17:45. The event was well attended by the final year students as well as second and first year students.

Mr. Maxwell Aidoo (1)Mr. Maxwell Aidoo, delivering a sermon, urged students to pray as well as study since they couldn’t pass their exams by their own strength. He also encouraged the students to be courageous and not to put their trust and hope in questions alleged to be coming from WAEC.

Mr. Essel-Yorke also led the students to pray for their educational and social life. The patron of the SU, Prophet K.K Ayibor, who is also the Assistant head Master of the school, led the students to say final prayers.

Speaking to the organizers of the one-day crusade, they said the crusade was to pray concerning the fore-coming WASSCE examinations. The program which started at 3pm ended at 5pm.
