The Central Regional Minister, Samuel Sarpong is blaming the suspension of the library edifice being built in memory of late President John Atta Mills on lack of funds.
Citi News, checks at the site revealed that the project had stalled.
President John Mahama cut sod for the project in July last year in commemoration of late President Mills but according to Mr. Sarpong, the project is not government-sponsored.
He however stated that the problem has been solved and that construction works would resume soon.
Mr. Sarpong explained that the delay was caused by financial difficulties the contractor was facing but “as at now, it’s been resolved and by the end of this month, the contractor will be on site.”
