Government Secures Funding For Nima-Mamobi Drain

The Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Alhaji Collins Dauda, says government has secured funds to complete the expansion of the Nima-Mamobi drain within twenty months.

This will stop people from dumping rubbish into drains and also stop the frequent flooding in the area.

Addressing the media after inspecting some drainage works in the Accra and Tema Metropolis, Alhaji Dauda said government will continue with the drainage project until it is able to provide concrete lining for all drainage channels in the country.
