KNUST Elects Caleb Fugah As New SRC President

KNUSTCaleb Fugah has been elected the new SRC President of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) following a general election that came off on Tuesday April 16. The old boy of Opoku Ware SHS polled a total of 2556 to beat his closest competitor, Lawrence Lawson who had 2256 votes.

The general election was finally held after it had been postponed twice on the grounds lecturer absence and vote-rigging plot allegation leveled against the electoral commission.

The election which was keenly contested by seven (7) aspirants saw the following results for the various aspirants in their respective positions certified and announced by the Electoral Commission.
