General Mosquito, as he is popularly called, is wondering why some leading members of the opposition party could predict the coming of these strike actions weeks before their occurrences, if they did not have a hand in it.
The NDC General Secretary told a Kumasi-based radio station, Angel FM, that he was surprised that some members of the NPP had prior knowledge of the strike actions.
The NDC scribe was, however, evasive on which individuals in the NPP predicted the coming of the strike actions, stating that the party would, at the appropriate time, state its position on the whole controversy. He expressed worry about the development, and called on the authorities involved to deal expeditiously with the grievances of the agitated workers.
The country is currently engulfed in a string of industrial actions in medical and academic circles, with reports emerging that members of the judiciary were also planning to embark on similar actions to press home their demand for better service conditions.
