KNUST SRC Elections Postponed

With the atmosphere charged and students in high hopes of getting to elect a new SRC president and other executives in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, the school’s Electoral Commission has announced that it has postponed the elections.

The elections which was initially scheduled to take place on Friday 5th April, 2013 has been postponed to Tuesday, 9th April, 2013. The time however remains from 8am to 5pm in the various constituencies.

Having been confronted by a few technical challenged that made it quite difficult to go ahead with the election on the previously set date, the EC and other stakeholders agreed to postpone the election to the later date.

The SRC presidency is keenly contested by 7 aspirants. They are;

1. Ebenezer Yao Buari
2. Lawrence Lawson
3. Caleb Fugah
4. Wisdom Agape Newman
5. Seth Mensah Bonsu
6. Jonathan Mayowa Tayo
7. Dorcas Osei- Boateng
