Officials from the Ghana National Service Scheme will from Wednesday 27th March, 2013 begin a pre-service campus orientation for prospective national service personnel and the general public on the various campuses across the country.
The NSS, as mandated by the government of Ghana is responsible for offering newly qualified graduates the opportunity to have practical exposure on the job, both in the public and private sectors, as part of their civic responsibility to the State.
The scheme’s pre-service orientation is to give the prospective personnel guidelines and useful tips that will make their practical work a successful and worthwhile endeavor. This will be an opportunity for all prospective national service personnel to have their concerns addressed by the Executive Director, his deputies and other officials.
The team will make a first stop at the University of Ghana on Wednesday 27th March, 2013 at 5:00pm. They will be hosted at the University’s Great Hall.
The program is opened to the general public.
Other institutions will be visited as well on later dates.
