It turned out a big surprise to the many Ghanaians who watched as the ‘gbalagazaa’ singer was arrested last Saturday.
Screw Face, known for his popular songs such as ‘gbalagazaa’, ‘bue’, ‘maabena’ stunned Ghanaians as he deviated from his secular music performances to a ‘Holy Ghost-filled’ one when he took to the stage of TV Africa’s Saturday night entertainment program, Sound Splash.
In a very emotional mood, he delivered his gospel praise and inspirational tune to a live band in a way that had never been heard of him.
He may have joined the league of colleague musicians who were once into secular music but have now responded to the call of God and into gospel music and other works of gospel ministry or probably in the line to follow as they have done.
His (Screw Face) father being a pastor may have been the influence, however judging from his performance on the night one could easily tell screw face has it when it comes to moving an audience into his performances.
We may conclude the Holy Spirit ‘arrested’ him to put out the good news.
