Telefonika has given New Edubiase a big sponsorship package to help them in the Ghana Premier League’s second round.
The sponsorship package of $32,000 (Gh¢60,000) is to help relieve the club of some of its huge financial burdens which have been their bane, especially during their crashed Africa campaign.
Edubiase were being sponsored by Sidalco, but the company recoiled into its shells following the death of the owner Hon. David Lamptey.
The logo of Telefonika and their name will be displayed on the jersey of the Bekwai-based club and they are expected to excel to also market the company.
According to a close source to the club, Telefonika will improve upon the deal next season.
