Ghana’s Energy Woes to be Resolved by 4th Quarter of The Year

John-Dramani-Mahama1Ghana’s Energy woes are likely to be resolved by the 4th quarter of this year as a total of 400megawatts of power is expected to be added to be nation’s current generational capacity then.

This detail was made known on Tuesday when H.E. the President, John Mahama visited the Bui Power Authority and Sino Hydro in a bid to assess at first hand all the major power generational plants accross the country.

Ghana is currently experiencing eratic power supply due to the inability of its generational plants to supply the equivalence of its demand.

President Mahama had on Monday visited the Takoradi Thermal Plant where he switched on 87MW of power to augument the current national supply.

It is expected that an initial 133MW of power will be generated by the end of April.
