The late Volta Regional Minister, Henry Ford Kamel has been laid to rest on Saturday at his hometown; Guaman in Volta Region.
Reading a tribute on behalf of the government, the Vice President said the best way to pay tribute to Mr. Ford Kamel is for his people to live in harmony. “I hope the people of this constituency will find a good replacement for their late MP; Henry Ford Kamel who passed away in December last year.”
The President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, Torgbui Afede who read a tribute on behalf of the Chiefs and people in the region said the late Ford Kamel’s honesty, humility and other fine attributes endeared him to many of the chiefs in the Volta Region.
According to Torgbui Afede he [Kamel] will be remembered for his singular efforts in getting the new university in the Volta Region started. “The late Kamel was indeed a great leader; Volta region has indeed lost a great son.”
